BAIC BluePark New Energy Automotive confirmed on September 20 that the Stelato brand's dedicated sales network under the HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance) system is progressing as planned, and the cooperative model with Huawei remains unchanged.
The response came in an investor relations document published by the company, addressing industry speculation after reports emerged of Huawei adjusting its partnership structure with Seres around the AITO brand.
Dedicated Stores Under HIMA System
Since the Stelato S9T launched last year, the brand has begun building its dedicated network within the broader HIMA channel framework. Several dedicated stores and user centers have already opened this year.
The HIMA Stelato network operates as a channel-strengthening measure, fully integrated under HIMA's unified management system — the same structure applied to other HIMA brand channels. This operational model has not changed, BAIC stated.
In Beijing, HIMA's official website now lists a Stelato user center that is actively operating, displaying the Stelato G9, S9 and S9T models on site. The number of such stores in the city remains relatively small at present, but BAIC indicated the rollout will continue on schedule.
Cooperation Model With Huawei Unchanged
BAIC BluePark described Stelato as a high-end luxury brand jointly built by BAIC and Huawei. Since the S9T's market launch, the two sides have deepened their partnership into what BAIC calls a "strategic community" — an automaker-plus-Huawei-tech-ecosystem alliance. This positioning and cooperation model remain unchanged, the company stressed.
Stelato serves as both BAIC's flagship brand for premium new-energy vehicles and a core member of the HIMA system. In the premium NEV segment, Stelato has established a full-category lineup covering sedans, station wagons, SUVs and MPVs, with the S9, S9T, G9 and V8 models currently in its portfolio.
Product Pipeline Underway
On product delivery, BAIC confirmed that work on the G9 is proceeding steadily, with deliveries underway. Meanwhile, the all-new Stelato V8 is in its planned marketing build-up phase ahead of its imminent market introduction.
Analysts will be watching closely to see whether BAIC's assurance on the partnership structure holds as Huawei's overall channel strategy continues to evolve across its portfolio of branded collaborations.
