Geely Galaxy TT Launches as 150K RMB Pure-EV Sports Sedan

Geely has officially launched the Galaxy TT, a C-segment pure-electric sports sedan targeting the 150,000 RMB price bracket. The new model arrives with five trim levels and a launch-time price range of 129,900 to 185,900 RMB (approx. $18,040 – $25,820).

The GT TT measures 4,999 mm long, 1,919 mm wide and 1,479 mm tall, with a 2,920 mm wheelbase — dimensions Geely says place it in the traditional C-class sedan segment. A low-slung fastback profile is paired with a speed-sensitive active rear spoiler.

Battery and Charging

Every Galaxy TT comes with a full 800-volt high-voltage architecture, a 16-in-1 intelligent electric drive unit rated at 93.8 percent overall efficiency, and a custom CATL "Shenxing TT" battery pack supporting 6C super-fast charging. Geely claims the battery can add roughly 500 km of range in just 11 minutes of charging.

The vehicle uses CATL's thin-cell pack integrated into the body (CTB) structure, which Geely says improved longitudinal rear-seat space by more than 30 mm compared with its previous generation architecture. Rear headroom is rated at 952 mm and rear seat cushion height at 285 mm, on a flat floor with large door openings.

Thermal management uses what Geely calls the industry's first fully integrated coolant module, reducing air-conditioning piping length by 70 percent and volume by over 20 percent. The company says winter heat-pump efficiency remains ahead of同级 competitors by more than 10 percent, managed through the brand's Xingrui AI cloud-power system.

All versions include NP 3.0 thermal-runaway protection, with a dedicated vent-channel design that Geely says prevents flame, smoke and propagation from a single-cell failure.

Chassis and Dynamics

The TT Ultra trim, Geely's top offering, has been tuned by Lotus. It carries a special "Handling by Lotus" limited badge. Across the full range, the car uses a pure EV rear-drive layout with a double-wishbone front suspension and five-link rear, both using hydraulic bushings.

Geely states lateral load handling improved by 8 percent during hard cornering, with peak lateral acceleration reaching 1 g. An AI road-preview magic-carpet system with CCD adaptive dampers is also included, aimed at smoothing bumps and speed bumps.

The company highlighted a recent Guiness World Records attempt in which a Galaxy TT maintained continuous drifting over 46 km on a wet surface, breaking Porsche's previous record of 42 km on a single car.

Smart Features

Every Galaxy TT is equipped with LiDAR hardware as standard. The vehicle runs on Geely's Qianli Haohan G-ASD advanced driver-assistance system, built around what the company calls a "world behavior model" (WAM) and an EEA 4.0 global central electronic architecture that links the driving, chassis and cabin domains.

The infotainment interface uses a system Geely calls "Super Eva," which the company says can understand natural language and anticipate user needs better than conventional voice assistants. For ADAS, the car supports highway and urban navigation-on-autopilot (NOA/CNOA), handling roundabouts, gate entry/exit and U-turns.

Geely said the car completed a test run on Niubei Mountain — described as one of China's most demanding mountain passes — with zero manual interventions in dark conditions.

Safety and Body

The body uses what Geely terms a star-armor cage structure, combining high-strength steel and aerospace-grade aluminum. The front and rear crash structures feature eight horizontal and two vertical main beams with a clover-leaf force-distribution design.

Active safety claims include an automatic emergency braking (AEB) system capable of stopping from 130 km/h, and a tire-loss detection that locks a deflating tire within 0.175 seconds, with AI stability control engaging in 0.3 seconds. The company said the car passed straight-line stability tests at 180 km/h and curved-road tests at 130 km/h and 120 km/h after simulated high-speed blowouts on split-friction surfaces.

Pricing and Launch Offers

From launch until October 7, buyers can claim a 6,000 RMB purchase-tax subsidy and a 4,000 RMB insurance subsidy. Additional promises include trade-in incentives, upgrade perks, financing deals and a "premium gifts" package.

TT Ultra buyers specifically receive a three-year, 100,000 RMB zero-interest loan, a combined accessories package valued at 49,000 RMB covering潮玩精品包 (trendy accessories pack), high-design appearance pack, sport-comfort pack and the Qianli Haohan H7 ADAS package, plus a track-driving course valued at 6,999 RMB and a limited-edition owner badge.

Launch Event

The launch ceremony featured several Chinese public figures. Mani, administrative director of Emperor Entertainment, attended to help select the brand's first user ambassadors. Fashion lifestyle influencer Li Beika launched a co-created limited-edition crossover gift box with the brand. Olympic swimmer Sun Yang also appeared to demonstrate the car's handling on track.

Geely positioned the Galaxy TT as part of its broader push to bring premium technology to mass-market price points, saying the model completes Geely Galaxy's lineup in the pure-electric sports-sedan segment.
