AITO has announced that pre-sales for its updated M8 mid-size SUV will begin on September 30, with the model positioned as a technology-focused offering featuring Huawei's latest driver-assistance suite.
The refreshed M8 will come standard across the entire lineup with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 5 system, an architecture the company describes as ready for Level 3 automated driving under certain conditions. The exact capabilities and regional availability of those features will depend on local regulations and future software updates.
In its pure battery-electric variant, the updated M8 offers a maximum range of approximately 830 kilometers (WLTP cycle). AITO has not yet released pricing or trim details for the Chinese market, and no launch date beyond the pre-sale window has been confirmed.
The M8 is part of AITO's growing portfolio of premium electric and extended-range vehicles, jointly developed by automaker Seres and tech giant Huawei. The brand has seen strong sales momentum in China, with the M-series serving as its flagship SUV offerings.
