BYD Da Han Delivers 10 Millionth Vehicle in Dynasty Lineage

BYD has reached a major milestone as its Da Han (Han) sedan becomes the 10-millionth vehicle produced under the brand's Dynasty series.

The Da Han is set to launch on October 13, continuing BYD's expansion of its flagship executive sedan. The all-electric version is already available for pre-sale, with the manufacturer claiming a maximum CLTC-rated range of up to 1,008 km (626 miles).

BYD's Dynasty lineup — which includes the Qin, Han, Tang, Song, and Yuan series — has been the backbone of the company's sales growth since its electric-vehicle push began. Hitting the 10-million-unit mark for a single series underscores the scale of BYD's domestic demand and its growing presence in global EV markets.

The Da Han has undergone iterative updates since its initial launch, with ongoing refinements to battery capacity, motor output, and feature content. BYD continues to position the Han as a competitive offering in the mid-to-large executive EV segment, where it faces rivals from both traditional automakers and new Chinese EV brands.
