Ferrari Reveals the CZ26, a Bespoke One-Off Based on the SF90 Stradale
Ferrari has unveiled the CZ26, a fully bespoke single-off supercar developed through its Tailor Made program and commissioned by a United States client. Built on the plug-in hybrid SF90 Stradale, the CZ26 shares the original's powertrain and performance hardware but features an entirely new body, interior, and aerodynamic design.
The project was led by Flavio Manzoni's Ferrari Design Center. According to Ferrari, the goal was to give the CZ26 a recognizable identity of its own rather than simply applying a new exterior skin to the SF90 Stradale.
Exterior and Aerodynamics
The CZ26 adopts a low, wide stance with a central "capsule-like" body section flanked by pronounced wheel arches. The front end features a full-width grille, ultra-thin hidden headlights, brake cooling intakes, and sensor housing all integrated into a nearly vertical front edge that gives it a face dramatically different from the SF90 Stradale.
The rear is shortened with cantilevered taillights and a large diffuser, reinforcing the wide, low visual effect. Ferrari redesigned the underbody and vortex generators, added air curtains on both sides of the front bumper, and developed a new rear spoiler and diffuser combination to increase downforce while managing drag.
The car wears a proprietary Argento Veloce silver paint with a fluid-like surface effect, accented by Rosso Lampante red trim and tinted carbon fiber to visually elongate the wheel arches and aerodynamic elements.
Interior
The cabin is wrapped in a custom black functional fabric, with 3D-printed seat inserts, red detailing, and embroidered CZ26 logos. Glossy carbon fiber inlaid with metallic thread is paired with matte carbon fiber and body-color dashboard and door trim pieces.
Performance and Specifications
Power comes from the SF90 Stradale's plug-in hybrid system: a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 producing 797 horsepower, combined with an electric motor delivering 162 kW of composite output and a 7.9 kWh battery. In pure electric mode, the car can travel 25 km. Power is sent through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
Performance figures include a top speed of 328 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, and 0-200 km/h in 6.7 seconds. Rolling stock consists of 20-inch wheels wrapped in 255/35 front and 315/30 rear tires, with carbon ceramic brakes capable of stopping from 100 km/h in under 29.5 meters.
Dimensions are approximately 4,763 mm in length, 2,007 mm in width, 1,189 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,649 mm and a front-to-rear weight distribution of 45:55.
Positioning in Ferrari's Lineup
The CZ26 further expands Ferrari's ultra-low-volume product range, which includes unique one-offs, limited-edition models such as the HC25, and other special versions based on the SF90. These sit well above the rarity and customization level of production models like the 296 GTB and 12Cilindri.
