Chery Auto announced on August 12 that the Fengyun T7 has officially entered the pre-sale phase. Positioned as a global-quality pure electric SUV, the new model comes equipped with Chery's "Rhino" battery and offers a standard driving range of 600 km under the CLTC cycle.

Design and Dimensions

The Fengyun T7 follows Chery's latest minimalist electric design language, featuring a closed-off front fascia, narrow split LED headlights, and sculpted side air channels. A sporty lower bumper trim enhances its visual aggression.

The compact SUV measures 4,570 mm in length, 1,852 mm in width, and 1,694 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm. The cargo area provides 450 liters of trunk volume.

A fastback roofline flows into a rear with a full-width LED taillight bar. Buyers can choose from six exterior colors — Blaze Orange, Mountain Smoke Purple, Cloud Pink Beige, Flowing Silver, Green Bamboo Grey, and Ink Stone Black — along with two interior options: Warm Black Brown and Extreme Night Obsidian.

Technology and Powertrain

Inside, the Fengyun T7 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8775 cabin-chassis integrated chip, paired with the Lingxi Smart Cabin 2.0 and Doulao large language model. A 15.6-inch central touchscreen supports CarPlay, HiCar, and CarLink connectivity.

Under the hood, a single electric motor delivers 178 kW of maximum power, with a top speed of 180 km/h. The 65.05 kWh CLTC-compliant Rhino battery is standard across all trims, and fast charging from 30 to 80 percent state of charge takes just 20 minutes.
