History
Chery was founded in 1997 in Wuhu, Anhui, and became China's leading vehicle exporter in the 2000s. The group spans mass-market Chery, premium Exeed, the iCAR new-energy sub-brand, and the Huawei-backed Luxeed. Chery is expanding production bases overseas and pushing its hybrid and EV lines.
