Official images reveal Wuling Starlight M plug-in hybrid MPV
Wuling has released the first official images of the Starlight M, a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) seven-seat MPV that rounds out the brand's Starlight lineup alongside the Starlight S and Starlight L.
The vehicle has been listed in the China Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's 410th batch of new product announcements, published in August.

Dimensions and interior
The Starlight M features a large MPV body with exterior dimensions of 5,150 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and a height of either 1,820 mm or 1,800 mm depending on specification. The wheelbase is 3,000 mm, providing ample interior space for a seven-seat configuration.
Powertrain details
Under the hood, the Starlight M is powered by a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid system. The engine, model LBT produced by Liuzhou Saiker Technology Development, has a displacement of 1,498 ml and delivers a rated power output of 105 kW, with a maximum net power of 100 kW. The vehicle's top speed is rated at 185 km/h.
The battery is a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) unit manufactured by Hefei Gotion High-Tech for the battery cells and Saikerui Battery System for the complete pack assembly.
Starlight lineup completed
With the addition of the Starlight M, Wuling's Starlight family now comprises three models: the Starlight S sedan, the Starlight L variant, and the Starlight M MPV. This positions the brand to cover multiple segments within the growing plug-in hybrid market in China.
