Physical BOOST Button on Steering Wheel
The Luxeed RX has been confirmed to feature a dedicated circular physical button located on the lower right side of the steering wheel. Officially designated as the "One-Touch BOOST" mode switch, the button allows drivers to activate the mode with a thumb press during operation, eliminating the need to navigate through on-screen menus.
Synchronized Powertrain, Chassis, and Cabin
According to the official release, activating the BOOST mode synchronously engages the powertrain, chassis, and intelligent cockpit systems. On the powertrain side, the electric drive system increases torque output by 10 percent. Paired with a dedicated throttle pedal calibration, the dual-motor four-wheel-drive variant can unleash the full 437 kilowatts of combined system power.
The chassis simultaneously switches to a performance-tuned setup, with suspension damping and steering parameters adjusted in real time to maintain a more stable body posture during dynamic driving.
Cockpit Safety and Display Integration
When BOOST mode is engaged, the vehicle's safety system works in tandem with the cockpit. Seatbelts and side bolster cushions tighten to secure occupants firmly in position, while the active rear diffuser dynamically closes to increase aerodynamic downforce at higher speeds.
Inside, the instrument cluster, center touchscreen, and passenger display automatically switch to a dedicated BOOST mode interface, and the ambient lighting changes color to match the theme.
Philosophy: Safety Enables Performance
Luxeed Product Director Hai Lantian stated that the One-Touch BOOST mode rests on the vehicle's comprehensive safety architecture. "We have always believed that safety is not a shackle that restricts performance, but the confidence that lets you drive boldly," he said.
