CFMOTO Announces 450MT Romania Champion Edition Pre-sale at approx. $4,247

CFMOTO announced on August 15 that its 450MT Romania Champion Edition motorcycle will open a limited online pre-sale in late August through the brand's official app and mini-program, priced at approx. $4,247 (30,580 yuan). Buyers will receive a free set of factory-off-road crash bars valued at approx. $83 (598 yuan).

The special edition is tied to the brand's dominant performance at the 23rd Red Bull Romania Hard Enduro Rally, held in Sibiu from July 28 to August 1. The five-day event covers over 600 km across one city obstacle timed stage and four mountain off-road days, with a finish rate typically below 50 percent.

CFMOTO riders swept all three competition classes. Spanish rider Mario Roman claimed the Adventure Ultimate title by a margin of 14 minutes and 40 seconds. Chinese rider He Guishu won the Adventure Lite class, becoming the first Chinese champion in the event's history. The Adventure Core title was also taken by a CFMOTO rider.

Competition bikes were built from the production 450MT, powered by CFMOTO's self-developed 449.5cc liquid-cooled inline-twin engine featuring a 270-degree crankshaft and dual balance shafts. Output is rated at 32.5 kW (44.2 hp) at 8,500 rpm and 44 N·m of torque at 6,250 rpm.

The chassis includes KYB adjustable-preload inverted front forks and a mid-mounted multi-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by Xishi four-piston calipers over 320 mm front discs and floating calipers over a 240 mm rear disc. Both ABS and traction control are standard and can be switched off. A 5-inch curved TFT display supports Bluetooth phone mirroring.

Dimensions are 2,210 × 870 × 1,390 mm with a seat height of 820 mm. Curb weight is 185 kg for the standard version and 205 kg for the three-box variant, with a governed top speed of 152 km/h. The Champion Edition features the same livery as Mario Roman's race bike.

CFMOTO has maintained a market share above 60 percent for the 450MT in Romania for several years. On August 10, the brand presented He Guishu with his championship bike in Kunming and announced plans to build its first global CFMOTO Champion Store in his hometown of Xuanwei, Yunnan province.
