Roewe is SAIC Motor's mass-market brand, formed from the assets of MG Rover and now pushing hybrid and electric models.
History
Roewe was launched in 2006 after SAIC acquired technology from the collapsed MG Rover. The brand's 750 and 550 sedans established it in China's mid-market. Roewe is now refocusing on new-energy models such as the D5X and Jiayue lines.
