History
Mercedes-Benz traces its lineage to Karl Benz's 1886 Patent-Motorwagen, the first automobile. The modern company was formed in 1926 from the merger of Daimler and Benz. Mercedes is transitioning to electric with its EQ lineup and the forthcoming modular MMA platform.
