History
Leapmotor was founded in 2015 in Hangzhou by former Huawei executive Zhu Jiangming. The company focuses on vertical integration, building its own electronics and battery packs. In 2023, Stellantis took a stake, creating Leapmotor International to sell its cars outside China.
