History
Dongfeng was founded in 1969 as Second Automobile Works, building commercial vehicles in the Hubei mountains. It grew through joint ventures with Nissan, Honda, and Peugeot-Citroën. Dongfeng is now pivoting to new-energy vehicles through its own brands and partnerships.
