AITO (问界) is the first brand under Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), a joint venture between Huawei and Seres Group specializing in premium intelligent SUVs.
History
AITO was launched in December 2021 as a collaboration between Huawei and Seres Group (formerly Sokon). Huawei provides the intelligent cockpit, infotainment system, and driver assistance technology, while Seres handles manufacturing. The brand achieved rapid success with the AITO M7, which received over 50,000 pre-orders within 25 days of its launch. In 2024, Seres acquired Huawei's AITO trademarks and patents for RMB 2.5 billion. Key models include the AITO M5, M7, and M9 flagship SUVs.
